Habit is a Strength+Conditioning gym studio built from a shared passion of Owners Steffany + Patrick to elevate the strength training experience for their community. Habit hopes to be a source of information + technique, but also a place to feel comfortable + foster camaraderie in hopes of being your place of constant growth; your Place of Change.


Coach Steffany Tuohy

Steffany grew up playing various sports as a kid; golf, tennis, skiing and soccer. Not until finding weightlifting as an outlet while studying at University of Orgeon, Steff hadn’t focused on a single sport. In 2012, Steffany joined Patrick starting her coaching career. Since that time, Steff has competed in regional bodybuilding + powerlifting competitions and enjoys working with athletes focused on performance goals.

“Watching clients build strength both inside + out of the gym is empowering. We learn from you as much as you learn from your Coaches.” Coach Steff appreciates the impact that feeling confident with a barbell in hand can have on the life of the lifter.

Coach Patrick Tuohy

Patrick’s passion for athletics began early; he showed skill in many sports but focused his early career in Swimming. He competed at State and National levels and landed a spot on the TCU Swim team.

In 2012, Patrick was introduced to weight training and began his coaching career. Coach Pat has worked with clients interested in fat loss, athletes competing in collegiate sports, competitive bodybuilding and powerlifting and seen success of his own on the powerlifting platform. Patrick is passionate about sharing the love of fitness, strength and setting + surpassing personal goals with our Members.

Coach Hannah Gurewitz

Hannah grew up an active kid and after heading off to college, discovered barbell weightlifting and every time she left the gym she felt empowered and strong. Hannah fell in love with the camaraderie and support and competed at her first powerlifting competition in February 2020.

Hannah hopes to share with other aspiring athletes that there is no specific athletic “look” and that there are definitely no barriers to what we are capable of. You are an athlete if you are driven to reach specific goals and milestones. Hannah believes in training and fueling her body to perform while living a balanced life.
